The Speed finally rolled out of the backyard, and into the capable hands of the guys at Atlanta Speedwerks. There’s nobody I trust more with this car than Todd, Brian and crew. They have forgotten more about tracking FWD cars than most will ever know, racking up podiums in their Honda TCR IMSA car like teenagers rack-up speeding tickets.
There is a lot of sentimental value in this ole car: The same car I picked the kids up from school in, is the same car that would lap cars 4x the price at Barber – backseat french fries and all. It’s a relic, it’s odd, it’s front wheel drive, but man is it fast. Time to breathe new life into it!!!
